Nursery Friends From France Illustrated 1st Edition 1927 Children’s Book

The book contains a collection of cultural folktales and verses, illustrated in full color. They were still in print then, but already an old collection. Now, they are out of print, and the original edition is close to 100 years old. However, their age does not diminish their enjoy-ability whatsoever. "Nursery Friends" was & is great fun. The illustrations were wonderfully drawn, sometimes hilarious, and the poems were often quite memorable. Illustrations are still vivid in color.
The book is a hardcover-no dust jacket. A few marks on the covers. The front cover illustration is stained. The covers are sturdy-not bent. The binding is strong. First Edition Assumed with none stated, there are two dates on the copyright page 1925, 1927. My research shows 1927 as the first edition. Perhaps 1925 is when the book was released in France? The inside of the book in great condition. I have found no torn pages, no writing in the book. With age, pages have yellowed a bit. Last photo other book.
